Es decir, si tenemos que 2<sup>3<\/sup> = 8, podemos decir que log<sub>2<\/sub>8 = 3. La base del logaritmo es la misma que la base de la exponencial (en este caso, 2). La pregunta que nos hacemos, por tanto, para resolver un logaritmo log<sub>b<\/sub>N es: \u00bfA qu\u00e9 n\u00famero tengo que elevar b para que el resultado sea N?<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Por ejemplo, si queremos calcular log<sub>2<\/sub>32, nos preguntamos, \u00bfa qu\u00e9 potencia tengo que elevar 2 para que el resultado sea 32? La respuesta en este caso es sencilla, y da 5, porque 2<sup>5<\/sup> = 32.<\/p>\n<p><b>Nota:<\/b> Puedes comprobar que el resultado est\u00e1 bien calculando la potencia b<sup>Log<sub>b<\/sub>N<\/sup> en <a href=\"?p=649\" target=\"_blank\">esta p\u00e1gina<\/a>.
