A diferencia del Inter\u00e9s Simple, en el compuesto los intereses generados se suman al capital y generan nuevos intereses. Utilizando progresiones geom\u00e9tricas, llegamos a la f\u00f3rmula que debemos utilizar, que es la siguiente:<\/p>\n<p><center><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/s0.wp.com\/latex.php?latex=C_f+%3D+C_i+%5Cleft+%28+1%2B%5Cdisplaystyle%5Cfrac+%7Br%7D%7B100%7D+%5Cright+%29%5Et&#038;bg=ffffff&#038;fg=000&#038;s=0&#038;c=20201002\" alt=\"C_f = C_i &#92;left ( 1+&#92;displaystyle&#92;frac {r}{100} &#92;right )^t\" class=\"latex\" \/><\/center><\/p>\n<p>con <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/s0.wp.com\/latex.php?latex=C_f&#038;bg=ffffff&#038;fg=000&#038;s=0&#038;c=20201002\" alt=\"C_f\" class=\"latex\" \/> el capital final, <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/s0.wp.com\/latex.php?latex=C_i&#038;bg=ffffff&#038;fg=000&#038;s=0&#038;c=20201002\" alt=\"C_i\" class=\"latex\" \/> el capital inicial, <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/s0.wp.com\/latex.php?latex=r&#038;bg=ffffff&#038;fg=000&#038;s=0&#038;c=20201002\" alt=\"r\" class=\"latex\" \/> el r\u00e9dito (tanto por ciento anual) y <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/s0.wp.com\/latex.php?latex=t&#038;bg=ffffff&#038;fg=000&#038;s=0&#038;c=20201002\" alt=\"t\" class=\"latex\" \/> el tiempo en a\u00f1os.<\/p>\n<p>No pude resistirme y uno de los problemas del examen fue el siguiente: <em>&#8220;En 1964, Bill Planey le prest\u00f3 100 d\u00f3lares a Maurice Minnifield. 28 a\u00f1os despu\u00e9s, este le devuelve el dinero a su mujer, con unos intereses del 10% computados diariamente. \u00bfDe cu\u00e1nto es el cheque que Maurice le da a Solva?&#8221;<\/em>, que sali\u00f3 ni m\u00e1s ni menos que de esta escena de <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/es.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Doctor_en_Alaska\"><strong>Doctor En Alaska<\/strong><\/a>:<\/p>\n\r\n\t<!-- Begin Video.js -->\r\n\t<video id=\"example_video_id_763435813\" class=\"video-js vjs-default-skin\" width=\"100%\" height=\"264\" controls preload=\"none\" data-setup='[]'>\r\n\t\t<source src=\"http:\/\/nosolomates.es\/videos\/Interes-compuesto.mp4\" type='video\/mp4' \/>\r\n\t\t\r\n\t\t\r\n\t<\/video>\r\n\t<!-- End Video.js -->\r\n\n<p>Como los intereses de Maurice se suman diariamente, hay que hacer dos cambios en la f\u00f3rmula: Dividir el r\u00e9dito <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/s0.wp.com\/latex.php?latex=r&#038;bg=ffffff&#038;fg=000&#038;s=0&#038;c=20201002\" alt=\"r\" class=\"latex\" \/> en 365 partes y poner el tiempo <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/s0.wp.com\/latex.php?latex=t&#038;bg=ffffff&#038;fg=000&#038;s=0&#038;c=20201002\" alt=\"t\" class=\"latex\" \/> en d\u00edas, es decir, multiplicando por 365, con lo que la f\u00f3rmula para el inter\u00e9s compuesto para periodos de capitalizaci\u00f3n de 1 d\u00eda es:<\/p>\n<p><center><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/s0.wp.com\/latex.php?latex=C_f+%3D+C_i+%5Cleft+%28+1%2B%5Cdisplaystyle%5Cfrac+%7Br%2F365%7D%7B100%7D+%5Cright+%29%5E%7Bt%2A365%7D&#038;bg=ffffff&#038;fg=000&#038;s=0&#038;c=20201002\" alt=\"C_f = C_i &#92;left ( 1+&#92;displaystyle&#92;frac {r\/365}{100} &#92;right )^{t*365}\" class=\"latex\" \/><\/center><\/p>\n<p>Introduciendo el ella los datos: <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/s0.wp.com\/latex.php?latex=C_i+%3D+100&#038;bg=ffffff&#038;fg=000&#038;s=0&#038;c=20201002\" alt=\"C_i = 100\" class=\"latex\" \/>, <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/s0.wp.com\/latex.php?latex=r+%3D+10&#038;bg=ffffff&#038;fg=000&#038;s=0&#038;c=20201002\" alt=\"r = 10\" class=\"latex\" \/>, <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/s0.wp.com\/latex.php?latex=t+%3D+28&#038;bg=ffffff&#038;fg=000&#038;s=0&#038;c=20201002\" alt=\"t = 28\" class=\"latex\" \/>, y utilizando la calculadora, obtenemos un capital final <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/s0.wp.com\/latex.php?latex=C_f+%3D+1643%2C83&#038;bg=ffffff&#038;fg=000&#038;s=0&#038;c=20201002\" alt=\"C_f = 1643,83\" class=\"latex\" \/>, es decir, 1643 d\u00f3lares y 83 centavos. Maurice, haciendo las cuentas de cabeza, obtiene 1643&#8217;81. \u00a1\u00a1Un error de solo 0&#8217;02!!
